18. “Magnetic maze” (For case-lessons about magnets, magnetics or mazes.)
The essence of the game: A teacher prepares several variants of simple mazes on sheets of paper, or students can draw such primitive mazes and exchange them. The sheets are laid flatly on the desk. At the beginning of the maze (or center, depending on its type) a metal knob, button or coin is put. The student’s task is to “get out” of the maze moving a small magnet under the desk.
OBJECTIVE: Development of such skills and competences as independent thinking, ingenuity, overcoming obstacles, ability to concentrate, with simultaneous consolidation of school physics material.
