13. “Combustible–incombustible” (Case-lesson “Fire”)
The essence of the game: Children stand in a circle or occupy space in the room so that it is possible to throw and catch a ball. The principle of the game is based on the famous “edible–inedible” game. The narrator names some substance, and the one to whom the ball is thrown must return it if the substance is incombustible or catch it if the substance is combustible. The teacher should focus on chemistry course material dedicated to processes of oxidation and combustion.
OBJECTIVE: Active recreation, mobilization, training of concentration, attention, coordination, with simultaneous consolidation of study material.
