10. “Architecture” (Case-lesson “Architecture of the modern world”)
The essence of the game: Construction toys of any type will come in handy. Students are divided into teams (the number of teams and players shouldn’t be limited so that to grand the like-minded groups possibility of comfortable cooperation). Each team has to build its own “house”, create its passport (describe its purpose, material, etc.). You may pay attention to whether the teams thought over the infrastructure, technical details, or just the exterior. The duration of the contest might be limited.
OBJECTIVE: Activation of creativity, formation of teamwork skills, development of such competences as leadership, delegation of authority, cultivation of taste, concern for quality, holistic systematic approach to assessment of phenomena and objects of the world. Creative respite.
